Your Mission
We are looking for pragmatic, hands-on, committed and passionate student to join us as working students on a 20h per week basis. If you are a Chemistry Student studying for your master willing to support a Team of Chemists and Chemical Engineers in fighting climate change with us, contact us!
Your Role
You'll join our process team to support the workup of pilot-scale reaction liquors — the downstream steps that turn our reaction output into characterized, usable product. Your day-to-day will include:
- Process-scale flashing, filtration, extraction and distillation of reaction mixtures
- Analytical measurements to track composition, yield and purity across the workup train
- Cleaning and maintenance of reactors and downstream equipment
- Documenting results and helping troubleshoot workup steps as we scale
Your Skillset
- As a chemist, you have initial experience in catalysis, inorganic chemistry, or polymer chemistry — or are willing to learn
- As a chemical engineer, you have initial experience with separations (extraction, distillation, filtration), process design, or thermodynamics — or are willing to learn
- You're comfortable working hands-on in the lab and enjoy the mix of process work and analytics
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and happy to get your hands dirty (literally — cleaning is part of the job!)
Your Mindset
- Innovative and creative, ready to find solutions for problems no one has solved before.
- Passionate about impact and contributing to the fight against climate change.
- Collaborative, as the world biggest problems are solved as a team.
